Cewe takes over online printing company Laserline

The European imaging service provider and online printing company, Cewe, has acquired  the online printer Laserline, Berlin, Germany. The company, which operates a printing centre in Berlin and has a staff of more than 160 employees, is expected to contribute approximately Euro 15 million to the turnover of Cewe’s commercial online printing business in 2018. From 2019, Laserline should also strengthen the profits fof he segment, Cewe said in a press release. In 2015, Cewe had acquired the commercial online printer, Saxoprint, Dresden, Germany. Terms of the transaction, which is subject of approval by the relevant antitrust authorities, were not disclosed.

Since the transaction is unlikely to be implemented before 2 January 2018, it will not influence the forecast for the 2017 fiscal year: the Cewe Board of Management still expects Group EBIT to be in the range from Euro 45 to 51 million, EBT in the range of Euro 44.5 to 50.5 million, with after-tax earnings of Euro 30 to 34 million.
