Mailpix announces strong 2018 sales

Mailpix, the US-based photo-printing, canvas and gifting site, announced 2018 sales revenue were up 38 percent and profits up 53 percent, compared to the prior year. In apress release, the privately-held company attributed the revenue and margin growth to the recent acquisitions of Photobucket’s PrintShopLab.com and RitzPix.com and to the continued growth of its 1 Hour Photo app.


“Despite the news in the business press reporting disappointing results for Shutterfly, MailPix is optimistic about the future potential of the photo printing, gift and decor markets,” commented Fred H. Lerner, founder and CEO of Mailpix. “We are continuing to manage our growth with strategic brand acquisitions and mobile app development.”

Since 2014, MailPix has added five brands to its portfolio: 1 Hour Photo, MyPix2, RitzPix, Winkflash and Photobucket’s Print Shop Lab. Apps in the MailPix family deliver to more than 20,000 U.S. retail locations.
