Sigma acquires Foveon
Sigma Corporation, Kawasaki, Japan has acquired 100% of the stock of Foveon Inc, the company that developed the original X3 three-layer image sensor, placing a stack of RGB pixels in each pixel location. Foveon will continue its sensor development operations in San Jose, CA, USA.

Tibergest withdraws ”Crasnianski-Resolution"
On October 8, 2008, we reported that Photo-Me (PHTM.L) announced that Tibergest BV, a member of the Company holding 19.8% of the issued share capital of Photo-Me International plc, Bookham, the UK, (in which holding the company's former Chairman Serge Crasnianski has declared an interest), had requisitioned the circulation of an additional resolution, to be proposed at the company's 2008 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 29 October 2008.
